Hello, hi, and bonjour. My name is Redd, and this here is the small part of the World Wide Web I've decided to carve out for myself. After using social media for a little over a decade now, I wanted to try my hand at making a website to display my art using old WYSIWYG software (Microsoft Expression Web and Frontpage respectively). I have a deep fascination with old software and technology, and as a kid who grew up on the old web of the nineties and noughties, I thought it would be cool to make an updated digital portfolio that also has the same eccentricities and flair that you simply don't get with modern web design.
I first began HTML coding in high school, roughly eleven years ago now, and I feel that HTML coding, like many skills, is one of which that must regularly be practiced lest it be forgotten. Please be patient with me as I relearn some lost HTML coding knowledge, find cool gifs to deck out the site, and make more cool art. As I update the site, I intend to put a gallery archive, blog, music player, among other fun things.
If you want to check me out elsewhere on social media, find me @redd_theartist
